Frequently Asked Questions

How do I edit my site's content? (NEEDS PHOTO & LINK)

Every ZIP site is editable -- meaning that there are zones on every page that you can edit. These content zones contain both images and text, and in some cases an index is automatically compiled to subpages that you can add and remove at any time.

We provide access to an online content management interface (CMI) that makes it easy for you to edit your site's content. (A sample page in the CMI is shown to the right. Click here for a closer look.) The CMI is a password-protected web site that you can log into from any computer to make changes to your site. You can edit a portion of the home page, you can add products, you can view the people who have registered at your site, and you can run reports on your site's traffic.

The best part of all is that editing your site is as easy as editing a Microsoft Word document. No knowledge of HTML is required to edit the content on your ZIP site. (To get the visual editing capability you must access the content management interface using a PC with Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. Other platforms, systems and browsers may only permit standard text editing, which might require some minor knowledge of HTML.)
