Email AccountsYour ZIP site includes a certain number of email accounts at your domain name (e.g.,

). These email accounts include both SMTP (outgoing) and POP3 (incoming) mail services. You can use a standard email client (like Outlook or Eudora) to receive mail, or you can use a web-based interface to access your mail. The web-based interface is just a web page that includes all the functionality you'd expect from a mail client -- including spell check, the ability to send and receive messages, and the abiltity to compile an address book. The actual number of email accounts you will receive depends on which service plan you select. ZIP email accounts have size constraints, both of the size of the email that is sent or received (under 1 megabyte), as well as the total size of messages which can be stored on the mail server (under 10 megabytes). The constraints should allow for most normal emails to be sent and received. Email accounts include anti-virus and anti-spam filtering. That means you won't receive any more viruses by email, and nearly all of your spam problems will be gone, simply by using the email accounts that come with your ZIP site. A ZIP email account cannot be used to send spam (unsolicited marketing email messages), and users who abuse this may have their service terminated.
